            • Head Coach, Peewee A & AA (Copper Country Junior Hockey Association)
            • Associate Instructor, Skating Dynamics Hockey School

    I am available day and night and will adjust my schedule to accommodate your interests if necessary. Instruction can take place at any agreed upon location. Since my schedule fills fast, I ask that you please try to give a few days notice if interested in private lessons.

  • Lessons/Instruction can be made up of:

      • Skating (Forward, Backward, Crossovers, Stops, Starts, Transition)
      • Stick Handling (Dribbling, Deking, Puck Control, Head Up, Vision)
      • Shooting (Wrist, Snap, Slap, Backhand)
      • Passing (Giving, Receiving, Saucer)
      • Core Hockey Skill Development (General Lesson to include all from above)
      • Systems (Fore check, Back check, Neutral Zone, Defensive Zone, Offensive Zone, Breakout, Face-offs, Penalty Kill, Power Play, etc.)
      • Chalk-talk (Sit with your player and discuss strategy and knowledge of positioning)
      • Nutrition in regards to hockey (How, when, what, and why you eat; fluid replacement; REST; travel and nutrition maintenance)
      • Fitness in regards to hockey (Discussing functional fitness and how it pertains to today’s athlete)
      • Off-ice training (Sessions of intense training focusing on functional fitness including proper warm-up, training and cool-down intervals)
      • Video Review (review game tape and assist player in making better on-ice decisions)
